How it works
Step 1: Brief and drawings
Site and floor plans in CAD or PDF, SketchUp (.skp) or Revit (.rvt) models, 2024 version preferred, the list of places to mark and your brand guidelines.
Step 2: Scope the model
We agree the area, the level of detail, the screens it runs on and what is clickable. Any live data or system link is listed separately, with your own suppliers.
Step 3: Build and review
We build the model and the views, then walk them with your operations or visitor team and fix routes, names and labels.
Step 4: Hand over
The interactive views as a link or embed, kiosk and phone versions, MP4 films and JPEG stills, with a short guide on what your team can update.

What is the difference between a digital twin and BIM?
BIM is the design and construction model. A visual twin is a simplified, presentable model of the same place for non specialists. We can build ours from your BIM or Revit model.
Is this an operational digital twin with live data?
No, not by default. We produce the visual model and interactive views. Live IoT, BMS or occupancy data can only be scoped per project with your own systems and suppliers.
How much does a digital twin cost in the UK?
Each one is quoted per project. Site size, detail, what is clickable, the screens it runs on and accessibility needs decide it. Send drawings and we quote.
Can the wayfinding be accessible?
Yes. We can mark step free routes, lifts, accessible toilets and quiet spaces, and design for clear contrast and large text. Your accessibility lead should review the final map.
Can we use it at a public consultation?
Yes. The model works on a large screen or as a web link, with MP4 fly throughs and JPEG stills for boards and handouts. Proposals should be labelled as illustrative.
Do visitors need an app?
No. The standard map opens in a browser from a link or QR code, and the same map can run on a kiosk.
What files do you need?
Site and floor plans as DWG or PDF, a Revit or SketchUp model (2024 version preferred), the destinations to mark and your brand guidelines. Send large files through a link.
How long does it take?
A full set typically takes 30 to 40 days, depending on scope. A consultation date or an opening can be planned around if you share it early.
How many revisions are included?
Revision rounds are built into every quote, at model, routes and final stage. Design changes after modelling starts are scoped and agreed before we continue.
