Digital Twin & 3D Wayfinding Digital twin and 3D wayfinding in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Saudi sites are getting bigger, and so are the crowds. We build a visual digital twin of your masterplan, mall or venue and turn it into Arabic and English maps people can follow.

For developers of large masterplans, mall and venue operators, stadium and event teams, and hospitals in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and Khobar.

Thousands of visitors, one static map at the gate.

A busy weekend at a mall, a match night or a big event: people ask staff for the same gate, the same prayer room, the same parking level all day. Meanwhile leadership and investors are shown a masterplan as a PDF and asked to imagine the phases.

A visual twin gives both groups the same clear picture. Visitors follow a route in Arabic or English on a kiosk or their phone. The project team turns the model in a meeting and points at the plot they are discussing. We build the model and the views; live operations data or indoor positioning is only added if it is scoped with your own systems.

What Saudi clients ask us to build

  • Masterplan twins for leadership briefings
  • Mall kiosks with Arabic and English routes
  • Stadium gates, seat blocks and parking maps
  • Hospital visitor and clinic maps
  • Event and season venue maps

What you get

You get a 3D model of the site, interactive views for leadership and investor briefings, and wayfinding maps for kiosks, your website and phones, in Arabic and English.

  1. Building & Venue 3D Model

A clean 3D model of your building, mall, stadium or hospital, built from your drawings or model, with floors you can lift off and zones in your colours.

  2. Masterplan & District Twin

A 3D view of a whole masterplan or district: plots, roads, landscape, phases and landmarks, ready to present to a board, investors or partners.

  3. Interactive 3D Views

Views people can turn, zoom and click: pick a building, a floor or a zone and open its name, its use and the renders or notes you choose.

  4. 3D Wayfinding Maps

Maps that show visitors where they are and how to reach a gate, a shop, a seat block or a clinic, with routes, levels and landmarks drawn clearly.

  5. Kiosk, Web & Phone Versions

The same map shaped for a touch screen kiosk, an embed on your website and a phone link or QR code, in the languages you need.

  6. Briefing Films & Stills

Fly through films (MP4) and stills (JPEG) from the same model, for opening briefings, events, operations meetings and reports.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Brief and drawings

Site and floor plans in CAD or PDF, SketchUp (.skp) or Revit (.rvt) models, 2024 version preferred, the list of places to mark and your brand guidelines.

  2. Step 2: Scope the model

We agree the area, the level of detail, the screens it runs on and what is clickable. Any live data or system link is listed separately, with your own suppliers.

  3. Step 3: Build and review

We build the model and the views, then walk them with your operations or visitor team and fix routes, names and labels.

  4. Step 4: Hand over

The interactive views as a link or embed, kiosk and phone versions, MP4 films and JPEG stills, with a short guide on what your team can update.

Questions

What is a digital twin in Saudi projects?

The term covers a lot. Ours is a visual 3D model of your building or masterplan for briefings, sales and wayfinding. A live operations twin with sensor data is a different, larger scope run on your own systems.

Can the twin connect to our BMS or sensors?

Only if we scope it together and your own system suppliers provide the data. We never include live BMS, IoT or sensor feeds by default, and we say so clearly in the quote.

Are the maps in Arabic and English?

Yes. Place names, routes and the whole interface work in both languages, with right to left layouts done properly, and prayer rooms, family areas and parking levels marked as your visitors expect.

Can visitors use it on their phones?

Yes. The same map runs as a web link or QR code, so visitors can open it at the gate or before they arrive. No app download is needed for the standard version.

How much does a 3D wayfinding map cost?

Every site gets its own quote. Floor count, the number of places to mark, the screens it runs on and the languages decide it. Send the site plan and we price it.

Can we use the twin for investor and leadership meetings?

Yes. Many clients want a model they can turn on a big screen to explain phases, plots and access. We can add short MP4 fly throughs for the same meeting.

What files do you need?

AutoCAD or PDF plans, the masterplan, SketchUp or Revit models with 2024 preferred, and a list of places to show. Big files can go in the quote form as a Drive or WeTransfer link.

How long does it take?

A full set typically takes 30 to 40 days, depending on scope. If it must be ready for an opening or an event, put the date in the brief.

How many revisions are included?

Every quote includes revision rounds on the model, the routes and the final views. New buildings or changed drawings after modelling starts are quoted as new scope.

Tell us about the place people need to find their way around.

A short brief is enough: the site, the drawings or model you have, where the map or model will be shown and who uses it. We reply with questions and a quote.
