Brand Identity Branding agency in London, United Kingdom

A UK brand heading to the Gulf finds out quickly that an English-only identity does not travel. We build the Arabic version with the English one, so a Riyadh distributor and a London customer see the same company.

For London and UK businesses, and for UK brands preparing to sell into Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the wider Gulf.

The brand that works at home and looks unfinished abroad.

UK brands often reach the Gulf through a distributor or a retailer. The distributor asks for an Arabic logo, a translated website and Arabic packaging, and someone produces them quickly. The result is a brand that is polished in English and improvised in Arabic, which Arabic-speaking buyers read straight away.

Doing this once, properly, is simpler. We design the identity so the Arabic and Latin versions share proportions, colours and tone, check the Arabic with native readers, and write guidelines your overseas partners can follow without emailing London every time. The UK version stays clean; the Arabic version is ready when you are.

What UK brands use the identity for

  • Distributor and retailer presentations
  • Arabic packaging and labels
  • Website and landing pages by market
  • Trade show stands in the Gulf
  • Partner and franchise guidelines

What you get

You get a direction, a logo system, colours, type and a voice in both scripts, applied to your pitch deck, packaging and web, with guidelines for the partners who will use them.

  1. Brand Direction

What the brand stands for, who it speaks to and how it differs from competitors, written on a page your team can repeat.

  2. Logo System

The main logo with its secondary versions, an icon and Arabic and Latin lockups where you need both.

  3. Colour & Typography

The palette with codes for screen and print, and the typefaces for headings and body text in each language you use.

  4. Brand Voice

How the brand sounds: tone, words to use and avoid, and sample lines for a post, a proposal and a sign, in each language.

  5. Applications

The identity applied to the pieces you actually need: stationery, signage, social templates, packaging, a presentation.

  6. Brand Guidelines

A guidelines document and organised files, so suppliers, printers and new staff apply the brand without calling us.

New brand, or one that has outgrown its logo?

How it works

  1. Step 1: Discovery

Your business, customers, competitors and what is wrong with how the brand looks and sounds today.

  2. Step 2: Direction

The positioning in plain words and a few visual routes to react to. You choose one, or tell us what to combine.

  3. Step 3: Build

The logo system, colours, type and voice, then applied to the real pieces in your scope and tested in each language.

  4. Step 4: Guidelines and hand over

A clear guidelines document, the final files and the templates, ready for your team and your suppliers.

Questions

How much does a brand identity cost in the UK?

It depends on the scope: depth of strategy work, Arabic and English versions, the number of applications (packaging, web templates, stands, stationery), guidelines length and the timeline. Send a short brief and we quote a fixed scope so quotes can be compared on the same terms.

We are launching in the Gulf. Where do we start?

With the direction stage: who you sell to there, whether you go through a distributor or direct, and which parts of the brand must stay the same. Then the Arabic version is built from that decision, not added at the end.

Is the Arabic designed or translated?

Designed. The Arabic logo version, typeface and layouts are drawn alongside the English ones, then checked by native readers. We ask you to confirm the name’s spelling and transliteration before it is final.

Can we keep our current logo?

Often yes. If customers already recognise it, we keep it and build the colours, type, voice and the Arabic version around it. If it needs fixing, we say what and why after reviewing it.

How long does it take?

The proposal gives dates for each stage. Sign-off is the usual cause of delay, particularly across time zones, so name the decision makers and the review dates early.

How many revisions are included?

The proposal sets the rounds for each stage. Revisions refine the chosen direction, and a new direction after approval is new scope, which we flag at the start.

Do we own the identity and the files?

You do. Ownership is agreed in writing in the proposal and the source files are in the hand-over where they are in scope.

Can you work remotely from the UK?

Yes. Workshops and reviews happen on video, and files are shared online. We can also meet in London where that suits you.

Will the guidelines work for overseas partners?

They are written for people who are not designers and are not in the room: short, bilingual where needed, with examples of right and wrong use and the file names to start from.

Do we need to register the brand in the Gulf?

Trademark registration is a legal matter for an IP solicitor or the relevant office in each country, and the rules differ by market. Check the name and logo first. We supply the clean artwork they ask for.

Tell us about the brand you are building.

A short brief is enough to start: the business, the markets, the languages and the pieces you need first. We reply with questions and a fixed-scope quote.
