Annual Report Design Annual and impact report design agency in London, United Kingdom

A UK annual or impact report has two jobs: cover what the organisation has to publish, and persuade the people who fund it, invest in it or join it. We design and edit for the second while your team owns the first, and every figure in it.

For London and UK charities, foundations, universities, listed and private companies, and UK organisations with partners or investors in the Gulf.

The report everyone signs off and nobody reads.

Many UK reports are built for compliance first: the accounts, the governance statements, the required sections. The front half, which donors, investors and staff actually read, gets whatever time is left, so impact stories become bullet lists and the year’s achievements hide deep in the text.

We plan the front half as a story: what changed because of your work, shown through a few clear indicators and real cases. The accounts and statutory sections stay exactly as your finance team and auditors approve them; we typeset them consistently. For organisations with Gulf partners, we can add an Arabic edition of the narrative.

What UK organisations publish

  • Charity annual and impact reports
  • Annual reports and accounts
  • ESG and sustainability reports
  • University and foundation reports
  • Arabic editions for Gulf partners

What you get

You get a storyline and page plan first, a layout system in your brand, charts built from approved figures, print and PDF files, and an Arabic edition when you report to Gulf partners.

  1. Report Structure

A page plan and a storyline for the year: what the reader should take away, which sections carry it, and where the figures sit.

  2. Editing & Writing Support

Editing of the chairman’s and chief executive’s messages and the narrative sections, plus writing support where drafts are thin. You approve every text.

  3. Cover & Layout Design

A cover and a layout system in your brand: section dividers, text pages, case stories and data pages that hold together across the whole report.

  4. Charts & Infographics

Your figures and performance indicators shown as charts, tables and infographics. Your team supplies and approves every number; we present it.

  5. Arabic & English Editions

An Arabic edition set right to left and an English edition in the same design, with tables and charts that read correctly in each direction.

  6. Print, PDF & Web Files

Press files checked with your printer, a light PDF with bookmarks and links, and pages or images for the web when the report goes online.

Year end coming, and the report is still a folder of drafts?

Send last year’s report and your timeline. We reply with questions and a scoped quote.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Brief

Who this year’s report is for, the sections and any reporting framework you follow, last year’s report, and who approves the content and the figures.

  2. Step 2: Structure

We propose the page plan, the storyline and the cover direction, and agree a schedule that allows for late audited figures.

  3. Step 3: Design

The template and narrative pages first, then the figures placed once your team signs them off. One combined set of comments per round.

  4. Step 4: Hand over

Final proofs approved by you, press files, the PDF and web assets, and the open files for next year.

Questions

How much does annual report design cost in the UK?

It depends on the scope: page count, editing and writing support, charts and infographics, an Arabic edition, print and digital versions, and your deadline. Send last year’s report and we quote a fixed scope.

Who is responsible for the accounts and figures?

Your organisation, your finance team and your auditors. We typeset the accounts as approved and design the report around them; we never prepare or change financial information.

Can you design an impact report for a charity?

Yes. We help shape the story of the year from your data and case studies, and design it for donors and partners. The impact data and how it was measured are yours to supply and stand behind.

Do you edit and write?

Yes. We edit the chair’s and chief executive’s statements and the section introductions, and draft case stories from interviews. Your team approves every word.

Can the report go online as well as in print?

Yes. A light PDF with bookmarks, images for social posts, and content for a web page or microsite if you want one.

Why not use a template?

Templates help a small charity with a short review. For a report read by funders, investors or a board, the work is in deciding what to say first and showing the evidence clearly, which a template cannot do for you.

Do we need an Arabic edition?

Only if you report to Gulf partners, funders or investors. We can design the narrative section in Arabic, set right to left, while the accounts stay in English.

Do you work with UK organisations remotely?

Yes. We have a studio in London; briefs, reviews and proofs run on video calls and shared files.

Tell us about this year’s report.

A short brief is enough to start: the type of report, the expected length, the languages, print or digital, and the date it must be published. We reply with questions and a fixed scope quote.
