Brand Identity Brand identity design in Manama, Bahrain

In Bahrain people hear about you from a friend, then open your Instagram. The profile, the shop and the packaging have to feel like the same business, in Arabic and in English.

For Manama and the rest of Bahrain: cafes, clinics, salons, retailers, trading and service firms, and start-ups with a new name.

In a small market, the second impression is your Instagram.

Bahrain is compact and referral-driven. A friend recommends you, the customer checks your profile, then walks in. If the profile, the door and the menu look like three different businesses, the recommendation loses weight. That is usually a missing identity, not a missing logo.

Most Bahraini businesses are bilingual by default, and some customers arrive from Saudi Arabia across the causeway. The identity has to handle Arabic and English well, stay recognisable in a square Instagram tile, and be simple enough for a small team to apply without a design department.

Where Bahraini businesses use their identity

  • Instagram profile, highlights and templates
  • Shopfront and interior signage
  • Menus, price lists and packaging
  • Uniforms and delivery bags
  • Company profile and letterhead

What you get

You get a direction, a logo system, colours, type and a voice for both languages, applied to your Instagram, your printed pieces and your space, with a short guide for whoever helps you next.

  1. Brand Direction

What the brand stands for, who it speaks to and how it differs from competitors, written on a page your team can repeat.

  2. Logo System

The main logo with its secondary versions, an icon and Arabic and Latin lockups where you need both.

  3. Colour & Typography

The palette with codes for screen and print, and the typefaces for headings and body text in each language you use.

  4. Brand Voice

How the brand sounds: tone, words to use and avoid, and sample lines for a post, a proposal and a sign, in each language.

  5. Applications

The identity applied to the pieces you actually need: stationery, signage, social templates, packaging, a presentation.

  6. Brand Guidelines

A guidelines document and organised files, so suppliers, printers and new staff apply the brand without calling us.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Discovery

Your business, customers, competitors and what is wrong with how the brand looks and sounds today.

  2. Step 2: Direction

The positioning in plain words and a few visual routes to react to. You choose one, or tell us what to combine.

  3. Step 3: Build

The logo system, colours, type and voice, then applied to the real pieces in your scope and tested in each language.

  4. Step 4: Guidelines and hand over

A clear guidelines document, the final files and the templates, ready for your team and your suppliers.

Questions

How much does brand identity design cost in Bahrain?

It depends on the scope: how much direction work you need, whether the identity covers Arabic and English, how many applications we design (menu, packaging, signage, Instagram templates) and the timeline. Send a short brief and we quote a fixed scope you can compare with other quotes.

We are a small business. Is a full identity too much?

It can be scaled to fit. A compact identity, with a logo, colours, type, a short voice note and a few templates, is often enough. The proposal lists exactly what is in, so you only pay for what you will use.

How long does it take?

The proposal gives dates for each stage. For a small business the pace is mostly set by how fast decisions are made, so name who approves up front.

Will it work on Instagram?

That is part of the brief. We design and test the identity in the profile photo, the grid, stories and highlight covers, and supply templates your team can reuse.

Do you design in Arabic and English?

Yes, both from the start. The Arabic is designed, not translated, so a customer who reads only Arabic gets the same quality as one who reads English.

Can the identity cover our shop interior and signage?

We design the signage and interior graphics in the scope we agree, and prepare the files for your fit-out contractor. The contractor builds them, and we can check the proofs.

How many revisions are included?

The proposal states the rounds. Revisions refine the direction you picked, and a change of direction after approval is new scope, which we say before work begins.

Who owns the identity and files?

You do. Ownership of the approved identity and the files is written into the proposal, and the working files are part of the hand-over.

We already have a logo from a friend. Can you build around it?

Often yes. If the logo reads well, we build the colours, type, voice and templates around it. If it falls apart at small size, we show you where and suggest a fix.

Can you handle photography and social content afterwards?

Yes, as separate work. An identity makes later content cheaper to brief and easier to keep consistent, so many clients continue with social media or content production once the identity is done.

Tell us about the brand you are building.

A short brief is enough to start: the business, the markets, the languages and the pieces you need first. We reply with questions and a fixed-scope quote.
