Market Research Market research consultancy in London, United Kingdom

UK SMEs rarely need a huge study. They need a straight answer to a specific commercial question, from real customers, within a reasonable time.

For UK SMEs and B2B firms, and for UK brands researching Saudi Arabia and the Gulf before entering.

You need evidence, and the big agencies are not built for your size.

The usual choice is stark: guess, or commission a study priced for a corporate research budget. Between the two sits useful work: ten well-run interviews with buyers, a short targeted survey, and a careful read of competitor positioning, search demand and public data.

For B2B firms the main trouble is reaching the right person, such as a procurement lead or a finance director who will talk. We help recruit through your contacts, LinkedIn and research partners. For brands looking at the Gulf, we research the Saudi and Bahraini buyer in Arabic through our Riyadh and Manama studios, rather than assuming UK behaviour transfers.

What UK businesses research

  • Testing a new offer with buyers
  • Understanding churn or lost deals
  • Positioning against competitors
  • Rebrand input
  • Gulf market entry

What you get

You get a research plan, desk research, customer or buyer interviews, a survey if it is worth running, and a report that says what to do and how sure we are.

  1. Desk Research

A structured review of public sources, competitors, search demand and your own data, with sources listed.

  2. Customer Interviews

Conversations with real customers or buyers, recorded with consent, written up by theme with the exact words people used.

  3. Surveys

A questionnaire written, tested and sent to the right audience, with results analysed and explained rather than dumped in a sheet.

  4. Focus Groups

Group sessions with recruited participants, arranged with research partners where needed, with a moderator guide and a summary.

  5. Market Sizing Approach

A clear method for estimating how big the opportunity is, with assumptions written down so you can challenge them.

  6. Insight Report

A written report with findings, what they mean for the marketing and the product, and a short list of next steps.

A decision to make and not enough evidence?

Send the question, the market and what you already know. We reply with questions and a scoped quote.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Question

The decision you need to make, what you already know and what would change your mind.

  2. Step 2: Method

Which mix of desk work, interviews, surveys or groups answers it, with scope and timing agreed.

  3. Step 3: Fieldwork

We gather the evidence, partnering for recruitment or facilities where that is the honest way to do it.

  4. Step 4: Report

Findings in plain language, a walkthrough with your team and recommended next steps.

Questions

How much does market research cost?

It depends on scope: the question, the number of interviews or survey responses, how hard the audience is to reach and the markets. We quote a defined scope after a short brief.

Can you speak to our customers?

Yes, with your permission and introductions, and with participants told how their answers are used. We also recruit externally through partners when your own list is not the right audience.

Do you do B2B research?

Yes. B2B research relies on conversations with a smaller number of the right people, so we focus on depth over volume.

Is a survey always worth doing?

No. A survey suits questions of how many or how much. For why, interviews are usually better. We recommend the method that fits.

Do you run focus groups?

Where useful, arranged with partners for recruitment and venues. We design the guide and analyse results, and say which parts are partner-run.

What about GDPR?

Participants consent before taking part and know how data is stored and used. Check current UK GDPR requirements with your adviser for your own responsibilities.

Can you research Saudi Arabia for us?

Yes, with our Riyadh studio, in Arabic, covering customers, competitors and messaging. We do not provide a licensed financial feasibility study.

Who owns the findings?

You do. The report and data are yours and ownership is written in the proposal.

Tell us what you need to find out.

A short note is enough: the product or idea, the market and the decision it feeds. We reply with questions and a scoped quote.
