Innovation Strategy Product innovation consulting in Lahore, Pakistan

Pakistani businesses are good at spotting an opening and quick to copy. We help you check, cheaply, whether a new idea will actually sell before you commit stock or a team.

For family firms, software houses, manufacturers and startups in Lahore, Karachi and Islamabad exploring a new product, service or export line.

Everyone is launching the same thing, and you want to know what would be different.

Competition in many Pakistani categories is crowded and copying is fast. A new product arrives, three versions follow, and prices fall. Without testing, a business can spend its capital on stock or development for an idea that customers only liked in conversation.

We keep innovation work lean. A short workshop to pick the idea, a few conversations and quick tests with real buyers, a prototype that costs little and a plan that tests one thing at a time. Where relevant, we look at business-model options, such as wholesale, D2C, subscription or export, and write down the risks of each. We do not give funding or grant advice.

What Pakistani businesses explore

  • A new product for the local market
  • A D2C brand from a wholesale business
  • A software product from services work
  • An export line
  • A new service for existing clients

What you get

You get opportunity areas, a focused workshop, concept tests with real customers, a simple prototype, business-model options and a lean, phased roadmap.

  1. Opportunity Areas

A short list of areas where a new product or service could fit, drawn from your customers, your strengths and what the market lacks.

  2. Idea Workshops

Facilitated workshops, including design-sprint formats, that take your team from problem to a handful of concepts in days, not months.

  3. Concept Testing

Each concept shown to real customers in interviews or simple tests, with what they liked, doubted and would pay attention to.

  4. Prototypes

A clickable or physical prototype of the strongest concept, built to be tested, not to impress.

  5. Business-Model Options

Two or three ways the idea could make money or be delivered, with the risks of each written down.

  6. Roadmap

A phased roadmap of what to test, build and decide next, with owners and the signals that mean go or stop.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Frame

The problem, the customers, the limits and what success would look like for your business.

  2. Step 2: Explore

Research, workshops and a wide set of ideas, narrowed together to a few concepts worth testing.

  3. Step 3: Test

Concepts and a prototype shown to real customers, with the results written up honestly.

  4. Step 4: Decide

Business-model options and a roadmap, so you know what to build, what to park and what to drop.

Questions

How much does innovation consulting cost in Pakistan?

It depends on scope: workshop length, concepts tested and whether a prototype is included. We keep scope sized to your budget and quote clearly.

We are a small business. Is this too big for us?

No. A one-day workshop, a few customer conversations and a simple test are a sensible size for a small firm.

Can you test an idea before we make stock?

Yes. Mock-ups, samples, listings and small pre-orders can show interest before large production, when run honestly and with clear terms for customers.

Do you do software and app ideas too?

Yes. We test the concept with prototypes before development, and can continue to design and build if it proves out.

Can you help with funding or grants?

No. We do not advise on funding, grants or programmes. We can prepare the concept evidence you may need.

Can you test export ideas?

Yes, with desk research and conversations with buyers abroad, in English.

Will our idea be kept private?

Yes. We can sign a confidentiality agreement before work starts.

Who owns the results?

You do. Everything is handed over and ownership is in the proposal.

Tell us what you want to explore.

A short note is enough: your business, the customers, the idea or problem and what you can commit to testing. We reply with questions and a scoped quote.
