Website Speed Optimization Site speed optimisation in London, United Kingdom

UK shoppers and buyers are used to fast sites, and they compare you with the quickest one they visited today. If your pages lag on a phone, the problem is usually a handful of fixable things. We find them and fix them.

For London and UK e-commerce brands, service businesses and marketing teams, including those with Arabic versions of their site for Gulf customers.

Every new tool added a little weight.

Over time a UK site collects a cookie banner, a review widget, a chat tool, two analytics tags, a heatmap script and a dozen store apps. Each was added for a reason. Together they block the page from loading and responding, and nobody owns the total.

We review every script and app with you, keep what earns its place, defer or remove the rest, and fix images, fonts and caching. Changes go to a staging copy first. Afterwards we run the same tests and show what moved. We will not promise a score, because lab scores swing and Google reports from real visitors.

UK sites we are asked to speed up

  • Shopify and WooCommerce stores
  • Sites with many marketing scripts
  • Paid-traffic landing pages
  • Content-heavy service sites
  • Sites with an Arabic version

What you get

You get a written audit, the agreed fixes to images, code, fonts, third-party scripts and caching, a before and after report, and a routine to keep it fast.

  1. Speed Audit

A written audit of your key pages on real phones and in Google’s own tools, listing what slows each page and what each fix is worth.

  2. Images & Media

Images resized, compressed and served in modern formats, with video and sliders loaded only when someone reaches them.

  3. Code & Scripts

Unused code removed, scripts deferred, and third-party tags, chat widgets and trackers reviewed so each one earns its place.

  4. Fonts & Arabic Text

Web fonts trimmed to the weights and characters you use, with Arabic and Latin fonts loaded so text appears quickly and does not jump.

  5. Hosting & Caching

Caching, compression and content delivery set up or tuned, and honest advice if the hosting itself is the bottleneck.

  6. Report & Monitoring

A before and after report from the same tests, and a light monitoring routine so new content and plugins do not slow the site again.

Is your website slow on a phone?

Send the address and the pages that matter most. We reply with what we see first and a scoped quote.

How it works

  1. Step 1: Measure

We test the pages that matter on mid-range phones and in Google’s tools, and read any real-user data your site already has.

  2. Step 2: Prioritise

A short list of fixes ordered by impact and risk. You approve what we change, on a staging copy where possible.

  3. Step 3: Fix

Images, code, fonts, scripts and caching worked through, checking that nothing breaks in Arabic, English or checkout.

  4. Step 4: Prove

The same tests again, a before and after report, and a monitoring routine you or we can keep running.

Questions

How much does site speed optimisation cost in the UK?

It depends on the platform, the page types, the number of apps and scripts, and what we may change. We review the site first and quote a fixed scope.

Can you speed up a Shopify store?

Within what Shopify allows: images, theme code, apps and scripts. Shopify controls its own servers, so the audit separates what is in reach from what is not.

Can you promise a PageSpeed or Lighthouse score?

No. Lab scores vary between runs and Google uses real-user data. We commit to the agreed fixes and an honest before and after report from the same tests.

Do we have to remove our marketing tools?

Not necessarily. We list what each one costs in speed, and you decide. Many can load later or only on the pages that need them.

Does the cookie banner slow the site?

It can, depending on how it loads. We check it with the rest of the scripts and keep the consent behaviour you rely on intact.

Will it improve our Google rankings?

Page experience is one of many signals, so it helps but does not decide rankings on its own. For search work, see our SEO services page.

Will anything break?

We work on a staging copy where we can, test checkout, forms and tracking, and keep a rollback for every change.

How long does it take?

A small site is quicker than a large store with many apps. The proposal gives dates for audit, fixes and report.

Can you keep it fast afterwards?

Yes, on a care plan, or with a short checklist your team follows when adding apps and content.

Send us the site that feels slow.

The address, the platform it runs on and the pages that bring you business are enough to start. We reply with first findings and a fixed-scope quote.
